I just recovered from Candida Overgrowth. Candida is a yeast. We all have Candida in our body naturally. If you eat a diet high in sugar, or GMOs or processed foods or have an eating disorder you can get an Overgrowth or imbalance of Candida.
What happens when you get an Overgrowth is you get some nasty symptoms. Some of those symptoms include insane bloating, lethargy, weight gain, trouble digesting, flu like symptoms, headaches, etc. Your whole being just feels sick and off.
Candida live in your fat cells and live off of sugar. In order to get your body back in balance, you have to cut back on the sugar and fat. I was bulimic for 15 years, so I got a huge Candida Overgrowth problem in my stomach. I had to go extreme by eating only Organic beef and bone broth for a month and a half. I was so sick for the last month and a half. I am finally feeling better and my stomach is back in check.
JediRich is still struggling with the Candida, because he’s a couple days behind me. I keep telling him it will all pass soon. It is like night and day when you finally feel better.
If you have ever eaten a lot of processed food, sugary foods, lots of caffeine, gluten, consumed a lot of beer or had an eating disorder, then you could be struggling from Candida Overgrowth as well. The big issue with Candida is that it is similar to a tape worm, except it makes you fat. This is because the Candida tells your brain to keep eating sugary, salty and fatty foods. You never feel full even when you are boated, you feel so hungry.
It’s a nasty thing to have. If you think you might be struggling switch to Organics, No GMO, No Gluten, No Dairy, No Caffeine, No Alcohol and low sugar and low fat. Definitely avoid beer. Beer is made with yeast that contributes to a yeast Overgrowth.
