This is Day 3 of me learning to sing. These are some of my all time favorites. I find the best way to practice is to sing the songs you already know by heart. So I’m going all across several generations of music. I love all kinds of music. I grew up listening to oldies and classic rock, thanks to my mom and dad. I just love practicing. It’s not necessary to be an amazing singer. All you need to do is have fun singing. The end product isn’t the point. It’s the blast you have along the way!! Do not be scared to sing even if you aren’t trained or skilled like me. Just enjoy the hell out of yourself!!
JediJoy Singing Practice
I had bulimia an eating disorder for over 15 years. I almost died about 3 years ago from my bulimia. My heart almost gave out. The hospital thought it was a miracle that I was living when they checked my vitals and they were at life threatening levels. Enough was enough, so I had to stop. It was the hardest battle I have ever undertook. I was sick everyday for 6 months to a year. I would have about 3 good hours a day and the rest I had to sleep and heal. Then I discovered Cannabis and organics. People had raved about both in my past. I thought it was a bunch of hogwash and not necessary. Wow was I wrong. Cannabis and organics saved my life and continue to save my life.
So now you ask what does this all have to do with singing? When I was bulimic I lost my voice. It was so hoarse you could barley hear me speak at times. No way could I sing any note ever. My voice cracked no matter what I was doing. I got asked everyday if I was sick or had laryngitis. I would deny being sick. The truth was I was super sick and my death was feeling like it was in the immediate future. Now I’ve never felt better. I started practicing singing because I can actually sing for a bit without my voice cracking. Which is huge progress. I am so happy to have my voice back. I keep practicing so before you know it, I might actually surprise you and hit all the notes. Not yet, but soon!!
