Jedi Rich Lightowler changed his life after 9/11 to follow his passion for modeling, art, photography, music, video and filmmaking. Jedi Joy Kirkpatrick and Jedi Rich got married in 2014. Jedi Joy changed her life as well. Instead of going to college at U.C San Diego with her sister Jedi Joy chose to enlist in the U.S. Air Force. Jedi Joy is a U.S. Air Force Vet with special-ops training who served in combat missions in Ecuador & holds top-secret security clearance.

Jedi Rich Lightowler first discovered his supernatural powers when a Native American taught him how to find water with a stick.
Jedi Rich grew up very aware of his Native American surroundings. Jedi Rich's father, Jedi John William, was an artist; a painter, photographer, musician and a CFO. Jedi John believed that Native American spirits could guide us through troubled times. Jedi John taught Jedi Rich the way of the Natives who inhabited the land before them. He showed him the arrowheads, the mixing bowls, the beads, the necklaces and the tools that he found along the banks of the Willamette River when John was a kid. They ate Salmon together with the Natives. They attended Native American rituals in Oregon, Washington and Vancouver. And Jedi John even hired a Native American "water witch" to point to where to drill for water.
That's when Jedi Rich Lightowler discovered he was a Jedi. He was just 11 years old. The water witch taught Jedi Rich how to find water using only a Y-shaped maple stick. Jedi Rich tried it. It worked. He felt the force flow through his hands, then arms, then chest then to his brain. He described the feeling like a magnet, pulling the maple stick towards areas of water. Jed Rich was able to recreate this at home. He found all the underground plumbing in Jedi John's front yard.

Jedi Rich built his first Digital Audio Workstation in 1996 in a studio located on Rich Street off Telegraph and 42nd in Oakland, California (across from the MacArthur BART). It was an experimental studio, built in a detached garage, but it worked. The DAW was portable (barely). The skills Jedi Rich learned building that DAW are the same needed today in non-linear non-destructive recording. In fact, you need to know much less today to build and record with a DAW under normal circumstances but when things go haywire is when JediRich.com shines.
