My Eating Disorder and Addiction Recovery: JediJoyRichShow #4Bulimia Food Addiction Recovery
by: JediJoy Lightowler It is almost impossible to overcome an Eating Disorder. The reason is the food. The food we are eating is the reason for all the eating disorders. People did not feel the need to over consume back in the day. That’s because the food was not addictive. Food was for nutrition. There were not all these added artificial and Genetically Modified Organisms. These artificial substances are the main cause for obesity. We have a higher number of people who are suffering from obesity than ever before. It is not anyone’s fault. It is the food. In the 80s the food industry and the government approved the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). GMOs and all the artificial and fake food is the reason people are struggling so much. All of these foods confuse the brain. Since everything breaks down to sugar, the brain treats anything artificial as sugar. What that means is even if are eating an artificial sweetener like Stevia or Splenda, you brain thinks it is sugar. Artificial sweeteners are sweeter than regular sugar, so your brain thinks it received even more sugar than regular sugar. So your body starts to process as if you received a ton of sugar. Your body starts producing insulin. Insulin tells your body to store fat. The more insulin your body produces, the more fat is stored and the fatter you get. This is why artificial anything is bad for your system. It is also hard to digest. We do not have the capacity to digest this fake food properly. Our body only knows how to properly process food from nature, from this planet originally. Organics are crucial to recover from an Eating Disorder. It may take baby steps to get to where you never throw up again. The way I did it was by doing all Organics, GMO Free, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Low Sugar, High Protein, Caffeine Free, Alcohol Free and Artificial Free. I was able to start digesting by cutting out all the fake food. I took it back to the way our ancestors ate.
