Bulimia is a natural response to a high carbohydrate diet. Bulimia first hit the mainstream in the 1980s when the FDA divided food into group. The groups were meat, fruit & vegetables, dairy & grains. We know that’s horseshit today. The body only recognizes three macronutrients: fat, protein & sugar (carbohydrates). The FDA’s recommended 4 equal food groups were really only two: protein (1) and (2) sugar (carbohydrates). Eating 3 times the amount of carbohydrates to protein will make anyone become hyperactive, lethargic, obese, depressed and yes, as the Jedi discovered, bulimic. Eating disorders are caused by diet. Eating disorders are cured by diet. But do not follow the FDA’s recommended diet or you will become obese or bulimic.
