DAY 22 Vegas Shutdown: Allegiant Airlines is Losing $2 Million in CASH per Day

The lockdown may have some fallouts.  One of which is Allegiant Airlines.  With 1/2 other their employees opting for 60 days PTO at 1/2 pay, the parent company of Allegiant Airlines continues to lose $2 million per day during the 30 day lockdown mandated by Governor Steve Sisolak.  With 22 days in and 22 days remaining, we are at he 1/2 way point.  The damage should.d start got waiver off or grow exponentially after May Day, May 1st 2020 when businesses are allowed to open again.

Photos April 7th, 2020 at Allegiant Stadium construction in Las Vegas Nevada.  Gov Sisolak is credited with bringing the Raiders to Las Vegas.  Getting the Raiders to relocate from Oakland to Las Vegas is what launched Steve Sisolak's bid for governor.  On March 17th, Gov Sisolak ordered all non-essential businesses in Nevada to close EXCEPT for Allegiant Stadium & other construction projects.

The workers we spoke to at Allegiant Stadium were less than concerned about the COVID-19 virus.  This virus isn't as deadly as the Governor is saying or this virus has been exaggerated by the Chinese.
