Jedi Joy's Bio:
I'm from Placerville, CA. After 9/11 I wanted to serve my country instead of going to UCSD with my sister. In 2002, I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force against my Mother’s will. I was her best friend. But I was only 17 so I had to have my Dad sign a waiver. In 2005, my Mother committed suicide. Although I was decorated in combat, I did not wish to re-enlist. I moved home. In 2008 my brother died in a motorcycle accident. I’ve become an advocate for healthy living, suicide prevention & nutrition.
Jedi Rich's Bio:
I’m from West Linn, Or— a conservative town outside of Portland. I worked in banking. My father worked in banking. As did my grandfather. I lived 23 blocks from the Twin Towers on 9//11. I was traumatized, but I didn’t know it. I quit my job. I became a bartender. I worked a few dingy gin joints before landing a decent gig at the Little Nell in Aspen, CO. I met everyone from Ivanka Trump to Carrot Top. I never married until I met Jedi Joy in 2009. We became friends & we married in 2014.
Jedi Rich Lightowler changed his life after 9/11 to follow his passion for modeling, art, photography, music, video and filmmaking.
