Las Vegas Stadium: $40 Million Over Budget

The delays caused by unforeseen weather in February and mistakes made by Mortensen/McCarthy in March, April and May, have resulted in the Stadium needing to request an additional $40 million this week.

The State's contract with Mortensen/McCarthy says that all proceeds from PSL's go directly to the team. If Mark Davis doesn't want or cannot pay for the mistake, then Steve Sisolak will have to go to the tax payers to raise taxes on hotel rooms in Vegas.​

The Stadium is paid for by tax payers - $750 million. Any overages or overtime must be approved and added the room taxes. Rick Velotta says that's not true. But when asked who pays for the overages, Rick declined to comment.
