Twitter a “Flurry” of Activity in Las Vegas as the 2nd Earthquake on Two Days Cancels the Las Vegas Aces WNBA Game in Progress
July 5th 2019 Las Vegas, NV: Las Vegas Stadium was hit with a major earthquake resulting in the cancellation of a professional basketball game less than one New York avenue block away.
There are rumors the the Las Vegas Stadium was able to bypass stricter earthquake building codes put in place in 2019 by pushing their project plan through in 2018. It is further rumored that Steve Sisolak and Mortensen-McCarthy bypassed those codes in order to reduce the previous price to tag from $2.4 Billion to $1.8 Billion. They have already gone over budget by $100 Million.
The Harmon at City Center had to be dismantled after completion as a result to faulty earthquake inspections. The Harmon was completely built, furnished and ready to open until they realized the building had bypassed certain earthquake codes; the building was not safe. It has to be the largest construction scam in U.S. history.
The Las Vegas Aces WNBA games was cancelled due to major damage caused by an earthquake. The team plays at the arena at Mandalay Bay across from the new Las Vegas Stadium, the new home of the Oakland Raiders where they will host NFL games and where UNLV will play NCAA college games in the year 2020.
Hear are what some fans were saying:
They heard what was an “explosion” then security showed up and they examined a very large crack in the floor before cancelling the game.
“That is a significant earthquake by any standards.”
“Wife and Kids at the game.”
“Let’s hope the contractors at Mortensen-McCarthy waited for Clark County Inspectors before sending workers up in the cranes.”
“The Raiders Stadium got into plan check right before the new 2018 building codes were adopted in February 2019!!!”.
