Why Does the Review-Journal Refuse to Report the Status of the Roof Raising at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas?
Allegiant Stadium Missed Milestone - The Roof
Las Vegas, NV: The Allegiant Stadium, roof project is listed as a major milestone. The roof was scheduled to be lifted and put in place by October 2019. The roof missed that milestone date. Then the contractors promised the roof would be raised by November 10 2019. Then the same contractors said the roof would be raised by Thanksgiving. Then the same contractors saids the roof would be raised by mid-December. That date came and went and no one said a thing except Mick Akers, Rick Velotta and Don Webb. They said the roof is no longer a milestone and that the roof is no longer critical for the path to completion.
Hello, I'm the New Year. It's 2020!
Someone needs to tell the public the TAXPAYER, PSL, NFL, BANK OF AMERICA FUNDED STADIUM HAS NO ROOF.
Since the local media and Review-Journal are more concerned about selling season ticket licenses than human life, then that someone became Jedi Rich Lightowler and Jedi Joy Kirkpartrick-Lightowler from JediRich.com Studios in Las Vegas.
Not a single station (Scripps, Sinclair, Meredith, Fox) reported that Mortenson-McCarthy built 10 roof trusses that didn't fit
Not a single station (Scripps, Sinclair, Meredith, Fox) reported that Mortenson-McCarthy missed the roof raising milestone date.
Not a single station (Scripps, Sinclair, Meredith, Fox) reported that Mortenson-McCarthy missed their second, third, fourth promised date. etc.
Not a single station (Scripps, Sinclair, Meredith, Fox) reported that Mortenson-McCarthy that the roof cables broke the structural bolts that hold up the 600 ton roof trusses. Eight of them. That is why inspectors from Grand Canyon Development Partners had come in and SHUT THIS PROJECT DOWN.
Yet, every news station and channel continues to pump the sales of season PSL tickets to consumers.
Now, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, has no roof. Would you want your kids to sit under a roof that collapsed when lifting? NFL games last up to 4 hours long. And so do desert windstorms.
There is no date to raise the roof. There is no completion date that the roof will be raised. Therefore, how can anyone accurately gauge when the Stadium will be completed? If the roof is a milestone for completion, then it cannot be taken off the critical path to success.
Why Doesn't Anyone Report the Stadium Has No Roof?
The stadium is being financed by PSL season ticket holders, Bank of America, the NFL and tourists via a hotel tax. Any overages are paid for by the PSL sales. The Stadium has had $130 million of overages thus far. If the Review-Journal reports that the stadium its delayed until 2021, then sales will cease for this Stadium, and the season ticket holders will want a refund. They cannot raise taxes and the bank will not increase their loan. How will the Stadium get completed without the PSL sales?
Does Mark Davis and the Raiders have the additional equity and capital necessary to complete the Stadium in case of such an event? That is the motivation for lying: the Stadium has no other choice.
And then we've got another Drew, Echelon, Resort World and Fountain Bleu in the form of a Stadium.
