A fully stocked fridge for a Jedi rarely cost over $40. Panamá has curfews and restrictions in place so that we can only buy food every other day. $80 would be a lot to spend at a grocery store on the Jedi diet.
It’s hard to get sponsors when you are the antichrist
Everyone is addicted to either sugar or caffeine. Children are eating large quantities of sugar at a younger and younger age. Prepubescent teens are drinking lattes with caffeine. The main stream parenting techniques have shifted. Starbucks has become a normal activity.
The Jedi’s message is simple. Stop consuming caffeine and sugar in any form. Sugar means fruit, carbohydrates, pasta, eggs, nuts, berries, kumquats, watermelon, broccoli, tomatoes, bread, pasta— basically anything that is not meat is sugar.
The grocery stores are loaded with carbohydrates
The majority of a Walmart grocery superstore is 90% carbohydrates and 10% protein. Think about it— it makes sense. In the 1970s and early 80s, a grocery store was approximately the size of a 7-Eleven. The grocery store sold groceries. If you needed meat, you went to the butcher. If you needed fish you went to the fish shop. If you needed bread, you stopped by the bread store on the way home.
Then someone came up with the idea – “hey, we should make a grocery store and we will put a butcher in the back.” That worked really well. Instead of having to go to two stores you now could just go to one. One stop shopping has been invented.
Then came the Marketplace. The 90s began a period when everyone wanted to be sophisticated. They made the grocery stores more like a spa with hardwood floors, industrial lighting & Ellen Show type fonts for their signage.
Shopping at the grocery store was no longer to get the best quality food at the best price like at a meat market. Grocery shopping had turned into an experience. Starbucks had been introduced into the grocery store.
Starbucks is the downfall of Americans. Starbucks is primarily Columbian coffee, from Latin America. The general consensus in Latin America is that caffeine is meant to be sold not drank. Caffeine is addictive. Highly addictive. Steady use after 20 years will leave a person’s body aged & brain senseless.
Jedi Rich loves Food
Jedi Rich has had an interest in food ever since he was 14 years old when he learned how to cook. His first job was a dishwasher at Shari’s Restaurant in Hillsboro Oregon. He was only 12 years old, which would’ve been illegal and against company policy except that his dad was the CFO of Shari’s Corporation. Jedi Rich did not know any different. His dad said go apply for this job and he did. Jedi Rich had no idea about connections, CFO$, or hiring practices. Jedi Rich’s dad said go apply I. There and that’s what he did. Jedi Rich had no idea he was a shoe-in for the dishwashing job. Jedi Rich tried his best to get the jobs. And he got it. He was so excited to tell his dad, “I starts Sunday morning at 7am. I have to be back here at 6:45.”
Jedi Rich passion is food. But not a passion for food the way you’re used to hearing about. Most people who have a passion for food oh really food addicted. That’s not a euphemism. That’s an addiction. A mental disorder. A disease. The actual addiction is an addiction to sugar. Sugar has been proven to be eight times more addictive than cocaine and heroin.
The reason the Jedi have difficulty finding sponsors is because we are telling everyone to stop buying everything that they’re buying. We are telling them they don’t need to spend $200 at a Safeway marketplace. We are telling them they don’t need to spend $500 at a Costco. We are saying you can purchase $80 worth of meat and that’s enough food for a family of four for two days. That’s $40 dollars a day.
Jedi Rich is a former CEO who transformed from a banker into a modern day independent music & film maker.
