Las Vegas is in the midst of the longest drought on record. The last time it rain in Las Vegas was April 20, 2020 or 166 days ago. The old record was 150 days without rain set back in 1959. Las Vegas also broke the record for the driest summer that was set back in 1944. Los Angeles and San Diego haven't reported rain since May and June.. Meanwhile, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Phoenix and Flagstaff, Arizona, have seen less than 1 inch of rain since August 1.
