Do Pro Sports in Vegas make people want to come to Vegas more or hate Vegas more?

Boston Fans hate New York.  New York fans hate Chicago.  Everyone hates the Raiders.  Does bringing pro-sports to Las Vegas make people hate Vegas more?  Thats the idea of a ports team.  To bring pride.  Pride is good for locals but is it good for tourism?

As more Californians move to Las Vegas, they are bringing their aggressive competitive nature along with their offspring.
