We started packing and we realized a few things:

1. We missed the GoPro LED MOD delivery -- got it yesterday!
2. Jedi Joy needed another suitcase -- Got it today!
3. We needed to finish the MEET MIKE DIXON video -- Finished Just Now!  

The Jedi changed our flight from Wednesday to Saturday.  We leave tomorrow in less than 28 hours from writing this post!

One more day before the Jedi depart Las Vegas and move to Panama, the country. International travel has been shut down for nearly seven months in Panamá. The Jedi will be one of the first international travelers ti enter the county since it’s shut down.

Sorry to say, but the Smart Stop storage units at 590 E. Silverado Ranch Road suck.  

We were all set to move when Jedi Joy went to sign the contract.  First thing she thought was odd was that she required her to purchase a $20 lock. The lock was worth about $2. She did not give Jedi Joy the option to leave and bring back another lock.  

The contract states that Smart Stop can increase our rates every 6 months. That made Jedi joy feel uneasy. The unit was on the second floor.  There was no air conditioning.  They had a swamp cooler. 

The elevator did not work.  You could not hold the door open, even if you needed to load it for moving in.  The lady showing the units said the elevator breaks down for says at a time.  We pay our movers buy the hour.  If they have to wait for an elevator or take the stairs then that adds cost to the move.

Finally, the woman handling the unit was very nice but super pushy. She called at least three times to confirm the appointment the day before.  She was extremely aggressive.  That made Jedi Joy uneasy going to the unit.  The person is obviously on commission sales.

Panama does not mess around when it comes to public health safety, When COVID hit, they shutdown everything in March.  They closed construction, grocery stores and even the airport to contain the virus. This week, the Airport resumed international travel.   The Jedi will be one of the first Americans to enter the country since the shutdown.

To enter Panama, one must present a COVID screen within 96 hours of entry. That its difficult since it takes 48-72 hours to get the results for a rapid screen. Normal times are 7 days-- which is not helpful. We went to CVD today. We leave on Thursday. Hopefully we get our set results in time. ​

The Jedi are packing our bags and moving to Panamá City, Panamá on Thursday October 15, 2020. Thats in 3 Days. First, we must get our COVID test later today. A negative COVID test is required to enter Panama.

New travel rules require international travelers to present a negative COVD test before entering Panama. The test must be completed within 96 hours of travel (4 days). The problem is, in Nevada, there are no rapid result tests results.  The mail you the results in 6 days!

Jedi Joy is researching some alternatives.  One alternative is to take a test at Panama airport for a fee.  We imagine this will be more complicated than presenting a valid health document.
