A lot of people struggle with determining what to eat and how much to eat. It’s definitely more important what you eat, then how much you eat. Once you eat the right things, you will find your body has no desire to overeat. Overeating coming from wrong food choices.
In 2014, JediRich was drug free, alcohol free, vegan and going to the gym everyday. He struggled everyday with his weight. He would feel hungry all the time. He would not know what he should eat or not eat or make sure to not overeat. It clouded his brain with worry over weight gain and health.
In 2015, we did an all vegan smoothie diet for a while. This is when JediRich got the largest. He blew up like a balloon. This is the highest his weight had gotten. We started weighing him at 315 lbs. Which means his weight was even higher before he started shedding the pounds.
I had struggled with eating disorders and was a bad example of health when we first got together. I did not look out for my husband’s health, because of my own addiction. Once I got over my food addiction, I was able to help my husband take off all those extra pounds.
I scoured the internet for years after I stopped being bulimic to find solutions to feel better and stop the constant bloating, lethargy and weight gain. JediRich’s dad, on his death bed told him to watch out for Gluten. This got me extremely curious. John Lightowler had clarity before he died. He knew that Gluten was a huge problem.
I looked into it and sure enough Gluten was one of the huge culprits of JediRich and my weight and health issues. There are numerous symptoms. You can look online for all those symptoms. It would take over this whole blog if I got into all those now. That will be for another day.
Once I read about the Gluten, I tried it on myself first, since JediRich was resistant. He thought he did not have a Gluten allergy. This is what they tell people that only 1% of the world has a gluten allergy. It’s actually 100%. Gluten is bad for everyone. The reason they don’t have proper studies, is because it is hard to narrow down until you break it down to the bare minimum like I did.
I tried everything and anything for fad diets, was a Vegan and had eating disorders throughout my life. The only thing that has finally worked for me and JediRich is all Organics, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, GMO Free, Caffeine Free, Alcohol Free and Low Sugar.
All of these items we took out slowly. It would be extremely difficult to change your entire lifestyle over night. This is a gradual change. With a gradual change you will see the most lasting results. Be easy on yourself. Do what is easiest first. For JediRich we got rid of the gluten first, then the dairy and so forth.
Now we eat an all Organic diet. We also do not eat Gluten, Dairy, GMOs, Caffeine, or Alcohol. We have never looked or felt better. I am 34 and JediRich is 50 years old. We both have more energy than we have ever had. I like to say that we feel like children again. But to be honest I feel better than when I was a child. I have never eaten a proper healthy diet like I do now.
I feel better than I felt when I was 5 years old. Which is convenient, since I love acting like a big kid!! I will be discussing in further blogs why Gluten, Dairy, GMOs, Caffeine, Alcohol and high sugar are bad for you. These need to be “thrown out the window” as I like to say. If you are struggling with your weight, I guarantee you will feel so much better if you start taking those nasty items out of your life.
Feel free to send me a message on here or on social media if you need any input on food advice. I am here to help you decide better options. Then you will honestly work so much smarter, not harder as they say. JediRich and I do not go to the gym or even work out much other than light nunchucks and walking. We stay in shape just by eating right.
I am willing to help you make a customized food plan for your body and your budget. Just let me know. I really want everyone to feel as awesome, happy and healthy like me and JediRich!
