For those nay sayers on “Team Zeenie” who said Don Webb couldn’t catch up, y’all forgot one thing: THIS IS VEGAS! After the worst winter weather in Vegas history, Don Webb and his crew at Mortensen/Mccarthy pulled off a summer miracle. They went from being 45 days behind to being at least 2 weeks ahead of schedule. This has to be the biggest construction comeback in NFL history, hands down. Thank you Don for keeping us on schedule. The stadium is back on track if not ahead of schedule. Great job Don Webb and all the Mortenson/McCarthy Crew!! You all saved Las Vegas!!" The Raiders Stadium: Back on Track!! This is Vegas!! By: JediJoy Lightowler This is Vegas!! The crew was behind, but now they are ahead, because...this is Vegas!! The crew went to the third shift and now they are flying. They have accomplished so much in the last month. It looks amazing. They are back on course, if not ahead of schedule for the opening date of July 30, 2020. On Friday, July 19, 2020, they lifted the final two trusses. They lifted them in the same day. We went down to the stadium to check it out. Both the white crane and the red crane were used. I love the cranes. They are so massive and amazing. The cranes have become quite a staple in Las Vegas over the last couple years. I will be sad to see them go when the project is over. I can watch the cranes all day long. It is so wonderful to see the progress that has been made on this stadium. If you are a local, I definitely recommend heading down to the stadium before it’s too late. Now is the time to see the progress. They will have the entire exterior complete soon. Once that occurs, it will be tough to see the progress. Now is the time to check out the stadium.
We are so proud of the crew. They have created a gorgeous stadium for the Raiders. This stadium will be a staple for future generations. We all were here to witness the process. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. Even when we were being attacked so hard on social media. It was all worth it.
We have met a ton of amazing people during this stadium update process. We know several of the crew members personally now. We are so happy that we can now report great news!! The stadium is back on track if not ahead of schedule. Great job Don Webb and all the Mortenson/McCarthy Crew!! You all saved Las Vegas!! 4K Illustrated Video Coming Up Next!
Only on the #JediJoyRichShow #JJRS exclusively available on YouTube. Full Earthquake Damage Report coming soon on YouTubeTV. The dual purpose NCAA/NFL football stadium in Las Begas is where the Oakland Raiders and the UNLV Rebels will host their regular season games. Last week, Las Vegas felt two major Southern California earthquakes. We went down to the stadium to inspect any visible damage. The safety harness on the roof trusses has come undone. They spent the editors noting reinstalling the safety harnesses. Any further delays at the stadium will not result in the Raiders missing the opening date. The Raiders can simply add more cranes, more shifts and more crew simply by increasing resort fees. There are several unfinished ongoing construction projects in Las Vegas. The Drew, Resort World, Circus Circus, the sphere and the Raiders Stadium to name a few.
We recently reported that the stadium trusses were 8 inches out of plumb. In fact, they are actually 1/8 of an inch too long. But that substantial amount of weight makes the trusses unstable.
By JediJoy Lightowler My husband and I have been covering the Las Vegas Raiders Stadium nearly for two years. This year, it has rained and snowed so much that they fell behind so they rushed and built all the roof trusses the same way. But they built them wrong. They built them with parts put on upside down. Furthermore, they did not realize the trusses were built wrong until they mounted the 10th truss on May 15th when it it was 8 inches out of plumb. Everything was brought to a standstill for over a month. But they didn't want the media to know. So they have been lying to the press and smearing me on Twitter and YouTube. I am actually a USAF Combat Vet who’s only mission was identifying unusual patterns in the sky and sea (aka UFOs). I protected the Ecuadorian aero space in 2003 and Air Force One in 2005 to name a few missions. I was born with photographic memory so identifying that the stadium had come to a standstill for over a month was baby food for me. But it gets worse. Before we could release the story, JediRich was attacked 3 mornings in a row from June 23-26th. His phone was robbed and I had to recover it from some homeless man using my nunchakus, no kidding, you should have seen it. But we can see that we got the Police on video losing pursuit of the attacker and then apprehending JediRich on YouTube here: JEDIRICH.com STUDIOS He was released after 48 hours with no charges. And then this week Las Vegas had two major earthquakes. There was damage at Mandalay Bay. Mandalay Bay is across the freeway from the stadium. We felt the tremors from the earthquake at our apartment 5 miles from the Stadium. But even after the two earthquakes, Mortensen-McCarthy didn't even stop to send inspectors before they started working the next morning July 6th because they are so late. Finally, we are now in the Summer; the deadliest time of the year for Las Vegans. Temps on the ground exceed 115 °. At 400 feet in the desert air, the temps must be grueling. We are concerned the the contractors no longer are concerned about safety. Their main priority is the August 2020 deadline. Check Us Out Here:
