Allegiant Stadium: 70% Complete

Allegiant Stadium Flash FloodingAllegiant Stadium in Las Vegas was rained out due to flash flooding this week.
Raiders Stadium Rainy Day

It was a rainy day in Las Vegas on Wednesday November 20, 2019. It floods super fast in Las Vegas, since it is in the Valley. Parts of the strip, can be flooded within, minutes of a huge thunderstorm.

The Linq Hotel and Casino, which used to be Imperial Palace, is the drain for the strip. All of the water from the strip, collects in the back of the Linq. This is normally where you enter the casino from. The Linq has an entrance from the back. They now have this completely closed.
Las Vegas Nevada Flash Flooding LinqFlash flooding in Las Vegas is still a problem at the Linq.
They are finally fixing this issue. The Jedi decided to go grab some photos of the rushing river at the Linq before it’s fixed for good. We were amazed by the amount of water. It is literally River De La Linq. It’s insane. We wanted to check this out before we headed to the Raiders stadium.

Seventy percent of The Raiders Stadium is complete. Most of the glass is complete. it held up great this time during the storms. They have built up what used to be the road down into the Stadium. It is almost completely filled with dirt. In the past the side walls by the road would deteriorate. Now they are solid. The rain does not affect progress much anymore.
We found out that they stopped raising the roof on November 10, 2019. Mick Akers from the Review Journal, claims this is because they only needed the roof raised a certain height to accomplish what they needed to do on the ground. Now that they have achieved that, they can start raising the roof again.
Las Vegas raiders stadiumLas Vegas Raiders will play at the new Allegiant Stadium when it is completed in August 2020.
The roof was originally set to be completed at the end of October or beginning of November. Mick Akers and Don Web assure everyone, the roof will be raised by Thanksgiving. The roof had some delays in October due to some wiring being stolen. This is an unconfirmed rumor. Don Webb did acknowledge parts had been stolen, but did not confirm which parts. We heard from an alternate source that part of the wires for the cables had been stolen.

The stolen parts caused the roof to be pushed back a couple weeks. The stadium is set to be on course for the opening in August 2020. The first event was set for August 16th now set for August 20th, 2020. It is exciting to see the progress. We are less than a year away.

The Stadium just postponed signing a $30 million water conservation contact with the water district. They were set to sign it but now they need to get This is an attempt to conserve water in Las Vegas. We are in the desert and we do have a shortage of water. Lake Mead is not at the level it used to be and we do not get a ton of rainfall. We love when we get the much needed rain!

The first round of payment due dates occurred on November 15th for the 2020 season ticket holders. There are still 1000 season tickets left. The PSL (Personal Seat Licenses) is a large portion of what is funding the stadium. The stadium is 130 million over budget. The additional funding is coming from an additional 5,000 PSLs. There is still time to get your tickets now.

Stay tuned for more updates as we watch this stadium come together. It is looking gorgeous. The stadium is clearly defined now. Almost all of the glass is on. It is quite a site to see.

Allegiant Las Vegas Raiders Stadium: Fresh New Blacktop!

LAS VEGAS. NV: ☠️ Hey Raider Fans! Apologies for the delay in getting out the November updates.  For those who aren't in Las Vegas, everyday in Las Vegas is a major international news scandal. However, many stories, such as the Raiders Allegiant roof raising delay, go uncovered by the local media. That's because the local media in Las Vegas is owned by the major casinos. For example, the Las Vegas Sands (The Venetian) bought the Las Vegas Review-Journal in 2015.  With all the projects going up in Vegas at one time, many are worried that investors might get easily spooked by any bad news coming out of Vegas. That's why the Jedi are constantly hitting the streets to bring you the stories you won't find anywhere else. Last week, the roof raising delay was finally confirmed by Don Webb. It won't be finished by October (obviously) but it will be finished by Thanksgiving.  The reason the roof raising was delayed is because the electrical wiring was stolen from the roof raising control center.  Apparently, it's expensive equipment. The roof raising company is from France. Replacement time was 90-100 days, but Mortenson McCarthy paid extra to have it expedited.  They also paid Las Vegas Metro Police for a month to secure the construction site.  Welcome to Vegas, French guys. You just got jacked. All overages will be paid for by the season ticket holders; not Mark Davis or the taxpayers.

This is their first time raising a roof in the United States so we had a lot of international work to do to find out what happened before releasing the video. Also last week, KAOS closed; the biggest nightclub in Vegas. This was a huge shocker because investors poured $1 billion into the Palms Casino and Resort. Alex Cordova from Wynn Nightlife was said to have been skimming 6-7 figures off the top of Marshmello’s and Skrillex’s $60 million contract.

Also last week, The City of Las Vegas made it illegal to be homeless.  So, on Veterans Day 2019, the Las Vegas Metro Police started arresting the homeless. Can you imagine being  charged with having nowhere to go? You’ll be like, okay, “What’s for dinner?”. The problem is that a large portion of the homeless are actually U.S. military vets who suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression - or other mental illness disorders. According to the National Association on Mental Illness, over 90% of homeless people suffer from some sort of mental illness disorder. I am a U.S. Air Force Combat Vet who flew Special Operation missions in Ecuador. I know that PTSD its real.  A normal soldier can easily become homeless if they get isolated, anxious or suicidal. I was homeless for several months more after I left the military. I was also suicidal. Also, many homeless are seriously schizophrenic. JediRich's sister is schizophrenic and roams the streets of Vegas all day/night.  She does not like to be confined - that's why she's homeless. The point is, on this Veterans' Day, let's make it a Veterans' Day Week: Support Our Troops, Feed the Homeless, And GO RAIDERS! ☠️

Oh the FRESH NEW! blacktop and FRESH NEW sidewalk in the North Entrance make the stadium “look-a-like-a-stadium”.  You have to check it out.  And 75% of the glass is complete and the 65,000 seat stadium is 65% completed. This is Vegas. Thanks for watching.  ☠️

Allegiant Stadium Update: Roof Raising Now Scheduled to be Completed by Thanksgiving 2019

Fresh blacktop at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS, NV: Raiders Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas revealed the Roof raising was delayed due to some equipment being stolen. This occurred on or around September 30th, 2019 because that is when the Jedi first noticed police cars positioned at each exit. They remained on property 24/7 for heightened security. It is unclear whether the Raiders or the Clark County tax-Ayers are covering the extra security.
Season Ticket Payemts are now due November 15th, 2019. The $130 million in overages will be paid for by the season ticket holders. It is important to get your payments in on time because they need the money to pay the workers, contractors and materials.
