4K Video currently being edited. Check back; it’s the Best Video yet! Go Iron Workers!
The Las Vegas Raiders Stadium project is coming along beautifully. They have several trusses up. The weather has been fantastic in Las Vegas, so the crew has been able to get a ton of work done on the stadium. We wanted to make a Tribute Video to the Iron Workers. These workers are the crucial key of this stadium. It’s mind blowing seeing the heights and feet’s that this crew go to, to create a beautiful stadium. They are fearless! As you will see in this video when it’s completed, the iron workers often work at insane heights. I am not even sure the amount of feet they are up in the air, but it’s breathtaking. The iron workers must have no fear of heights. It’s amazing to see when they lift a truss, they have to retrieve it and place it in place from the crane onto the roof. So imagine that, you are a ridiculous amount of feet in the air and then you have a 130 ton steel truss coming at you, that you must place in the bracket at the roof of the stadium. Talk about an adrenaline rush. This crew is something else. They better get some crazy hazard pay for a job at those heights. Thank you iron workers and the entire crew for all your hard work. This stadium is not an easy project. There have been a lot of things the crew, the city and owners have had to overcome to get this project going, continuing and finishing in 2020. We are ecstatic to see the progress lately. The crew appears to be caught up and now have several trusses up. This is an exciting time in Las Vegas history. We are going through an era change. We have a NFL stadium being built in a town that a couple years ago was not even allowed to advertise in the Super Bowl. Not only can Las Vegas now advertise in the Super Bowl, they plan to host the Super Bowl in 2025. What a crazy turn of events for Sin City. If you live in Las Vegas and have not had the opportunity to check out the stadium, I recommend you go down there. It’s a site to see. The crew is extremely nice and they are fun to watch as they do their own parts of this masterpiece. Check out the raising of a truss. It’s fun to see. It was quite an experience to see the first truss go up. It was a wild rush. I can only imagine what these workers feel everyday. Especially the ones that are working at super high heights all day. I was amazed at the iron workers that had to guide in the 130 ton truss into the bracket at the roof of the stadium while they were standing on a small beam a “million” feet in the air. I do not have a fear of heights, but I would not want to test to see if that would scare me. I can verify now, I would be terrified. Thanks crew!! You sacrifice a lot so we can have a beautiful stadium!! Sometimes we take for advantage the people that do these tough jobs. Even though you are getting paid, it can be a lot of work. So I want to give a shout out to all the hard workers on this stadium. It takes you all to create this home for the Raiders and we are thankful.
