They heard what was an “explosion” then security showed up and they examined a very large crack in the floor before cancelling the game.“
This person is being snarky about the fact that the Las Vegas Stadium was able to bypass stricter building codes:
The Raiders Stadium got into plan check right before the new 2018 building codes were adopted in February 2019!!!”.
Makes me glad they got around to taking down the one tower at City Center that wasn’t built to code.”
@Billkelso66 is referring to The Harmon which was dismantled in 2014-15. See Wikipedia article here.
On July 5th, 2019 Las Vegas Had It’s 2ND EarthQuake in Two Days: Did Anyone Check The Stadium For Structural Damage Before Returning to Work?
Stay tuned for more...
If Bank of America calls the $550 million note, then the Clark County General Fund will pay the difference.
Happy Fourth of July. You better be getting paid overtime!
We are back on schedule for 2020 but the workers have to work OVERTIME. You’d better get paid DOUBLE to complete this project. They are currently working around the clock 24 hours a day, 7 days a week m, 365 days a year, including holidays like today.
UPDATE: The Stadium is back on schedule but it is delayed 45 days. The crews are now working holidays, 7 days a week, 365 days. The Stadium hit a major setback after Don Webb realized that trusses were built with parts upside down on May 14th 2019. That is why the May 15th truss had to come down on June 13th 2019.
JediRich is a former True Value Hardware Store Employee. If you have a construction issue in the field, just go to your neighborhood hardware store, like McFadden-Dale Hardware and ask one of the employees. They will have the answer.
JediJoy is a US Air Force Vet. She was born with photographic memory. Her missions were combat related. Her job was to identify anything usual in the air or on the radar. Using her photographic memory, she was able to determine that the stadium had hit a standstill.
How do we know it was a cover up? Because they were painting the trusses black. We asked McFadden-Dale why you would paint iron trusses black when they are already black? They said there is no structural reason to paint iron. That is literally the definition of a cover-up.
FOX 5 Vegas and the Review Journal were notified of the delay on June 23rd. On June 26th and June 27th Mick Acker and Rick Velotta - two verified journalists, went on the YOUTUBE to tell everyone that the stadium is not delayed. I also alerted Kim Wagner, Dayna Roselli, Orko Manna, TJ Lavin, Cynthia Lundenberg, and KTNV, NEWS3, 8NEWSNow and Fox 5 Vegas. You should check the stories they chose to run on those days.
Changes to the original blueprint design were changed mid-stream, sometime between May 15th and June 13th 2019.

CLUE: The fact that the RJ did not even mention that there was a truss issue, was an issue.
Everyone was aware that a truss had been put up and then put back down. Interestingly enough, the RJ has never addressed this at all. They have only said that the stadium is 100% on time NO IFS ANDS OR BUTTHOLES about it.
Why was that?
Here you can clearly see the iron workers welding the truss that was mounted on May 14th. May 15th is when Don Webb discovered that the truss had been built with parts upside down. Therefore, the May 14th truss was built exactly the same.
You can't just install truss that doesn't fit and re-weld them and expect them to have the same structural, sound design as the original blueprint. This is insane. The stadium is not safe.
Oh yea, its true.
We have video testimonials telling us what's really going on.
For starters, they built the trusses UPSIDE DOWN!!!
But there's more... a lot more! Stay tuned to the #JediJoyRichShow #JJRS only on YouTube, JediRich.com and your favorite local social media outlet.
They were in such a RUSH after the snow storms in February, that they didn't notice the pieces were going on upside in March and April. So they brought in a third crane to speed up the truss lifting. However that came to a screeching halt when they realized the trusses were not stable on May 15th when a truss was 8 inches out of plumb.
But Don Webb built all the trusses in advance to the same wrong spec. He built the trusses upside down ands now he is trying to cover it up.
But it gets better. They had a meeting on May 23rd with the public Las Vegas Stadium Authority. What do you think Don Webb, Rick Velotta and Mick Ackers told the board about the trusses?
I don't know anything about these things, but what do you call it when a contractor lies to a Las Vegas government official about tax payer monies?

The #JEDIJOYRICHSHOW #JJRS
Have you all guessed what led to the dismantling and reassembling of the roof truss that was put in place on May 15th?
It took over a month to bring it down. But during that time, Rick Velotta informed The Jedi that Don Webb decided to install TWO more trusses on May 20th after he knew the roof trusses would collapse. But he installed them before his progress report meeting with the Las Vegas Stadium Board Authority on May 23rd.
The question you all should be asking is: Did Don Webb tell the Las Vegas Stadium Authority that the roof truss(s) were unsafe?
Video coming soon...
In these photos, there are clues as to what went wrong with Raiders Las Vegas Stadium Project.
Truss Fuss Continues as Inspectors Cannot Guarantee that the First Two Trusses Mounted are Structurally Sound
Think about it logically.
1)They had to bring one truss down because it was not structurally sound when it was mounted on May 15th. And 2) they built ALL the trusses in ADANCE before they
knew they wouldn't fit.
The question you should be asking is, "How many trusses were built the same way as the one installed on May 15th?"
