Luis Navarro was my Dad's "best" friend. My Dad would take Luis on sailing trips, drink fine liquor with him and treat him to soccer matches. They spent every weekend together when I was a kid. But when my Dad died, the only thing he said was "We can help you Gloria, in anyway, but not with money". Huh? Gloria never asked him for money. I never asked him for money. But good to know that Luis Navarro is a money miser. He's loaded. Yet, he loves his money so much that he would not help out his best friend's wife in need, even at death. What does Luis hope God will say to him ?
GOD: "Great job, Luis! You managed to never give one dime of the money I gave you to your BEST friend's family."
<SATAN ABRUPTLY INTERRUPTS LUIS>
SATAN: "He was being sarcastic, you dumbfuck."
Luis Navarro is a greedy, selfish man
What we know about Luis Navarro is that Luis Navarro is greedy, selfish and sexually perverted man. Those are 3 deadly sins against God, by the way. He's super catholic, goes to church every Sunday and his wife teaches Spanish at all-girl, private Catholic School. They were not born Americans. They were wealthy Cubans who escaped the wrath of Fidel Castro.
"I'll give you anything you want except money"
What could Luis offer my mother other than money at his age? She doesn't need his advice on life and he cannot restore a house. So what was Luis Navarro hoarding God's money for? His kids? Nah. His kids are loaded by comparison to his income when he was their age. Who knows why Luis hoards his money. This author lives in Manhattan. Luis never gave me a birthday card, I doubt he'd I've me money. It never crossed my mind until. he said he wouldn't. My mother was the one who needed her friend's help after my father died. But where were my mother's friends? It was like my mother had fewer friends than I had and I don't have any friends.
