Depressed? Make a Song!
Here's the reason why we sing and dance. Because #ThisIsVegas. And because JediJoy's mother committed suicide a few years ago when she was in air combat. When that happened, JediJoy quit the Air Force and became very depressed. She became suicidal, bulimic and made 3 attempts on her own life. As a result, she lost her vocal chords. She couldn't even talk on the phone. So for her recovery, she found that singing and dancing helps her depression, even though she knows she cannot hold a tune. But if you feel her singing is bad now, then you should check out her videos from a year ago 😂
Anyways, we don't do it for her. We do it for other people who are depressed but too afraid to sing and dance. It is that fear of singing that makes people further depressed. Its a self-repeating cycle.
You are probably not depressed, but if you ever feel down, try singing or dancing. But if you get really depressed, upload it to YouYube. Somehow, it's therapeutic. At a minimum, it will make you laugh. And hopefully others will laugh or cringe or whatever.
