There’s an ongoing debate on the link between sugar and cancer. The Jedi have tested this theory. JediJoy has spent the better part of 4 years doing solid research on any article regarding nutrition, health & science pertaining to sugar. What she found was there is substantial evidence that link excessive sugar intake to esophageal cancer, small intestinal cancer, and other forms of digestive cancer. By abstaining forms all sugar, you can theoretically starve to cancer until it goes into remission. The argument against this method is that humans cannot live on a pure protein diet. Jedi Joy has tested this empirically. Over the past five years, Jedi Rich has lost 170 pounds (nearly 1/2 his body weight), lowered his blood pressure to 120/80, lowered his resting heartbeat rate to under 60 bpm and has had more energy and at age 52, he has more libido that ever before. The general argument against this dieting method is protein cannot be used as a fuel source because protein is needed to repair muscle tissue. The Jedi tested their theory. They are wrong. Protein as a fuel source is a slow burning, longer lasting energy than carbohydrates (sugar).
All carbohydrates are sugars too, meaning foods you wouldn't think of as sugary — like potatoes, pasta and grains — do eventually break down to simple sugars in the body.
