The 20 year depression caused by 9/11

Jedi Rich had an apartment in Gramercy Park when the attacks on 9/11 brought down the Twin Towers.  He was devastated. Depressed. But he persevered.  He did everything he could to maintain.  He sought therapy. Took prozac.  He even took classes in Broadway Dance.  He tried everything.  

On a rainy business trip in New Orleans, his life was about to change forever.  Jedi Rich met a man who had served in Serbia.  He loved Jedi Rich.  He took Jedi Rich behind the scenes of Mardi Gras.  Jedi Rich was throwing beads from the balconies and kissing girls he'd never met.  

Around 1am they were in the bathroom.  The Sgt said, here and put a key with some white powder next to Jedi Rich's nose.  That. Was. It.

Jedi Rich knew he found the cure to his depression.  Cocaine. However, his uptight girlfriend back in New York was not as keen on the idea.  Sure, she's done cocaine. But she could not have Jedi Rich be happy.  That would not do!. So they broke up.  Which was fine by Jedi Rich. more later....
