We lived in an all white 1970s Oregon Suburb of Portland called Milwaukie

I was a very sensitive child. I was often teased by other children & adults. My brother died was I was very young. When my sister was born, their favorite joke was to tell me they were going to sneak in and kill my sister too. Even the adults joined in. This went on for years. They teased me because my mother did not speak English. We lived in a 1970s all white Oregon neighborhood.
