Backstory: Why Do Oakland Fans Hate Las Vegas Raiders Fans?

The negativity stems from the Las Vegas Raiders ​having had two previous relationships with two other cities; one with Oakland and another, short-term affair, with Los Angeles from 1982-1994.

And like the children from a divorced marriage; the fans are bitter. The Oakland fans are jealous that the Vegas Raiders have a brand new, shiny stadium. The Vegas fans are bitter because they feel that the taxes imposed by the Raiders are burdening the businesses on the strip. And the L.A. fans are bitter because they hate everybody.

​Rather than arguing with each other, let's unite all three Raider Nation cities together through one epic track.

Each city has its own flair for arts & entertainment; Oakland is known for groovy beats, fun and entertaining yet politically charged lyrics with artist such as E-40, the Digital Underground and Michael Franti.

Los Angeles made it's mark in music history with N.W.A. & initiated a revolution that changed music,  entertainment, film... & society ...forever.  Ice-Cube was an initial FOUNDER of the group N.W.A. 

Las Vegas has been known for acts such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Elvis Presley.  But since the 1970s, Las Vegas has been almost absent from creating any new musical genres. That is until recently.  The 2010s with the advancement of celebrity DJs and massive EDM shows catapulted Las Vegas into the modern music scene.  DJs such as Tiesto, Martin Garrix and Skirllex have made Vegas a popular destination for party goers from around the world.  While Dan Reynolds with Imagine Dragons and Brandon Flowers with the Killers have brought international acclaim to Vegas by touring the world.

The Raider Nation Anthem contains a new Las Vegas Slogan, Al Davis' famous :

The chair of the LVCVA is also the chair of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority. The LVCVA is responsible for the slogan  “What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas”

The Anthem will be a collaboration of artists from ALL Raider Nation cities; Los Angeles, Oakland & Vegas. We will bring all 3 cities together through music. 

Vegas is known for massive EDM shows with high profile DJs. Oakland for groovy rhythm & rhymes while LA is known for hardcore ‘gangsta’ rap founded by Ice Cube and N.W.A.

• Tom Hanks: Went Oakland HS too.  Tom will recite an updated “The Autumn Wind”, which is a sports-themed poem adapted from Mary Jane Carr's "Pirate Wind" by former NFL Films President and co-founder Steve Sabol describing the atmosphere of autumn weather, as it relates to pro football season.

When played live at Allegiant Stadium, the Anthem will be like Woodstock, but for Raider Nation.  Eventually, a high speed train will connect the three cities. The Raider PSL holders will have at least three cities wanting tickets... the Future is Vegas.  This is an opportunity...
